Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology

1. Brief Introduction:

Founded in 1936, Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology (herein after called as SICT), a public institute, started higher vocational education in 1999. SICT was awarded many honors, including National Model High Vocational College, National Advanced College in Graduate Employment, Best College in Entrepreneurship Education of Shandong. There are 58 programs and about 16,000 full-time students in SICT.

2. Location:

SICT is in Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province. Jinan is located between Beijing and Shanghai, it takes 2 hours to Beijing and 4 hours to Shanghai from Jinan by high speed train. Shandong province is the hometown of Confucius and Jinan is famous for its springs.

3. International Cooperation

SICT has established cooperations and exchange ties with overseas countries, such as US, UK, Australia, Malaysia, Korea, and Taiwan area. Every year, there are about 100 foreign students from above countries and region studying Chinese or conducting internship in SICT.
